Double World Championship J. Vogel vs. Diallo, G. Bramowski and A. Reis
The first main battle:
The “Double Junior World Championships”
“Every year again” – in his fourth home match, WBO Junior World Champion Julian Vogel will now also box for the IBF Youth World Title against Frenchman Bakari Diallo!
Julian Vogel (19-0-2 (10)), 23, from Aschersleben, the undefeated WBO Junior World Champion in the super welterweight division, will return to his hometown for his fifth title defense. This defense has a special twist – he will also be fighting for the vacant IBF Youth World Title in a double junior world championship bout against 22-year-old Frenchman Bakari Diallo (13-2-0 (8). Diallo won this title in the welterweight division last year, in April 2025.
Julian Vogel is therefore facing a great opportunity to become a double world champion in his weight class. With this fourth “home game” for the Aschersleben junior world champion , Julian Vogel can once again count on the unwavering support of the boxing fans from Aschersleben and throughout Saxony-Anhalt – true to the motto “Every year again!”
Sound bites from the press conference at the Bestehornhaus in Aschersleben:
Julian Vogel: “The huge motivation remains; it’s about two Junior World Championship titles and further top rankings in the world. But whether it’s for two, three, four belts, or none at all, I must and will approach every fight with intense concentration, full motivation, and seriousness. Diallo wasn’t the IBF Junior World Champion by chance; he’s the right and strong opponent in the fight for these two belts! With my new coach, Georg Bramowski, I’ve received new impetus, a breath of fresh air, and in this new environment, in addition to rigorous conditioning training, I’ve also gained a lot of new motivation!”
Georg Bramowski (Julian Vogel’s new coach): “We have, of course, studied our opponent Diallo, including all his strengths and weaknesses, and have developed a plan, a strategy, and a plan of action. For Julian, it will come down to one thing: he must rely on his willpower, and his will must be greater than that of his opponent!”
Bakari Diallo: “My respect goes to Julian again. He’s the star here, the local hero. But everything will be on the line on Saturday night, for two titles. I’ve prepared for that, I’m ready. My mission remains clear: I came to Aschersleben to take both belts. Julian will find out on Saturday; I’m the toughest opponent of his career!”
The second main battle:
SES fighter Artur Reis: “Back To Roots” – the WBO champion returns to his original weight class, super middleweight, with a WBC title fight against the Italian Ismail Airoud!
Following his title fight in Chemnitz last year and the injury-related cancellation of his light heavyweight title defense, Wolfsburg’s SES boxer and WBO champion Artur Reis will now return to his original weight class, super middleweight . Aware of his considerable skills, qualifications, and successes in the super middleweight division, he aims to prove himself in Aschersleben in a fight for the vacant WBC International Super Middleweight Silver Championship against the strong Italian Ismail Airoud (12-1-0 (7)), who lives in Dubai.
Soundbite from the press conference at the Bestehornhaus in Aschersleben:
Artur Reis: “I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, and I mentally accepted the move back to super middleweight. I made weight successfully and feel in great shape. And, the only belt missing from my collection is the green one, and… there’s still room for more!”
Heavyweight Michel Dobler from “Team Germany” will fight his first 8-round bout against Bosnian Srdan Govedarica!
With his eighth professional fight, the 23-year-old SES heavyweight Michel Dobler aims to clear the next hurdle in his boxing development with his first eight-round bout . With seven clear victories, six of them by knockout, the Magdeburg-based “Team Germany” boxer is considered by many boxing experts to be one of Germany’s greatest hopes for the future in the heavyweight division. In Aschersleben, he will face Srdan Govedarica from Bosnia-Herzegovina, who has won twelve of his fourteen professional victories by knockout! This first eight-round fight could therefore be a particularly important test for Michel Dobler !
Super middleweight Max Suske (Team Germany) will face Romanian Mykola Vovk in his 16th professional fight!
His trainer Georg Bramowski and his fans are eager to see him again: in May in Magdeburg, the 23-year-old Max Suske (13-2-0 (10)) from Stralsund fought with a straightforward, disciplined, and powerful boxing style, defeating Slovakian Nedbai by TKO. Against the very experienced Romanian Mykola Vovk (16-9-0 (10)), who lives in Nuremberg, he could reward himself with another early victory in the same manner.
Arminius Rolle from Berlin, the youngest German professional boxer, is about to have his first title fight against Amijan Sapic for the International German Championship!
At just 16 years old , Berlin’s Arminius Rolle (6-0-0 (5)) before his first title fight as a professional boxer. The currently still youngest German professional fighter will compete for the International German Super Lightweight Championship against the also only 22-year-old Bosnian Amijan Sepic (3-3-0). This could also make him the youngest titleholder in German professional boxing. Arminius Rolle ‘s preparation with his trainer and father, Robert Rolle, will naturally take place in Berlin for this special championship fight, scheduled for the first time as a 10-round bout, as usual in his home gym.
“Magdeburg Boys” do it again – unfortunately, Paul Schmidt has to drop out at short notice, and Ole Rätzel, along with Moaed “Mido” Azizieh, will have to worthily represent the boxing club!
The “Magdeburg Boys,” Paul Schmidt (2-0-0 (2)) in the cruiserweight division and Ole Rätzel (4-0-0 (2)), dominated their “home” fight at the Magdeburg Exhibition Center in May – both defeated their opponents quickly and decisively by TKO in the second round, earning enthusiastic applause from the crowd. Unfortunately, Paul Schmidt has now had to withdraw at short notice due to illness, and Ole Rätzel will face Czech fighter Jan Balog in Aschersleben. The Magdeburg boxing team, coached by Max Ristig, will be joined by welterweight Moaed “Mido” Azizieh. (3-0-0 (2)), who played against Marek Cureja from the Czech Republic Magdeburg will be represented with distinction. Another Magdeburg boxer, Kenan Huseynailyev in the super bantamweight division, will face the Argentinian Leonardo Baez in the ring.
Aschersleben’s super middleweight boxer Christoph Fricke will also fight his second professional bout in Aschersleben!
As the second “Local Hero”, Christoph Fricke, after his TKO victory last year, now faces the extremely experienced Czech Ondrej Budera , who can already look back on 70 professional fights with 19 wins.
