‘I don’t think this situation is especially complicated,’ Kennedy said during the Tuesday segment.
‘We’ve got a wolf problem in Los Angeles. They’re not peaceful protestors, they’re wolves.’
Thousands of rioters have been swarming LA since Friday, vandalizing storefronts and setting cars on fire.
Kennedy argued that Newsom is doing nothing to tackle the crime and violence, claiming the Democratic governor is no match for the raucous crowds.
‘So you say, “Well, where’s the governor?” Well, the governor is a sheep,’ Kennedy asserted.
‘He’s a sheep in sheep’s clothing. He thinks cops are a bigger problem than criminals.’

After criticizing Newsom, Kennedy moved to LA Mayor Karen Bass, calling her a ‘sheep’ just like the governor.
‘More sheep is not going to stop the wolf problem,’ he reiterated, justifying the Trump administration’s $134 million-decision to send troops to LA for 60 days.
‘We’re stopping the wolf problem. Last night was a better night and tonight will be better still.’
President Trump has sent 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to LA to intervene and protect federal property – efforts Newsom has fiercely pushed back on.
California filed a lawsuit over the use of the National Guard following the first deployment, claiming Trump ‘trampled’ the state’s sovereignty and sent troops without the governor’s permission.
In a post on X post, Newsom called Trump ‘deranged’ for his response to the riots and claimed he was acting like a dictator rather than a president.
Kennedy is not the only politician accusing Newsom of acting against the state’s best interest.
House Speaker Mike Johnson said he should face consequences for enabling criminal behavior.

‘I’m not going to give you legal analysis on whether Gavin Newsom should be arrested,’ Johnson told reporters. ‘But he ought to be tarred and feathered, I’ll say that.
‘He’s standing in the way of the administration of carrying out of federal law. He is applauding the bad guys and standing in the way of the good guys. He is a participant, an accomplice.’
Democratic Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman also condemned California’s reaction to the protests.
‘I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration – but this is not that,’ he wrote on X.
‘This is anarchy and true chaos.
‘My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement.’
The protests began on Friday, when anti-ICE demonstrators seized on a handful of migrant raids across the city, acting against Trump’s deportation policies.
Local business owners were outraged as destructive looters continued to target downtown stores as the protests persisted.
Additional protests against immigration raids have now erupted in several other cities including San Francisco and Santa Ana, California, and Dallas and Austin, Texas.
