Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has been named in the travelling squad of Manchester City for their crucial Round of 16 clash against Real Madrid CF in the UEFA Champions League.

The first leg of the highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to take place at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid on Wednesday night, with both European giants aiming to secure an early advantage in the knockout tie.

Semenyo, who joined the English champions during the winter transfer window from AFC Bournemouth, has quickly been integrated into the squad. His inclusion in the Champions League travelling party highlights the club’s confidence in the Ghanaian forward’s attacking qualities as they pursue success in Europe’s elite club competition.

The 26-year-old is expected to be in contention to make his Champions League debut if called upon during the match. Known for his pace, strength and direct attacking style, Semenyo provides versatility across the front line and could offer additional options for City’s attack.

The clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid is widely regarded as one of the standout fixtures of the Round of 16, featuring two of Europe’s most successful clubs.

Semenyo will be eager to seize the opportunity and make an impression on the continental stage.
