Antoine Semenyo, faced Kudus’ Spurs side with Bournemouth before the international break

The Black Stars intensified their preparations in Accra as they gear up for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

With the full squad now assembled, the atmosphere in camp has been a mix of focus and fun.

Mohammed Kudus, fresh from Premier League action with Tottenham Hotspur, joined training and immediately became the subject of some good-natured banter.

Antoine Semenyo, who faced Kudus’ Spurs side with Bournemouth before the international break, decided to lighten the mood with a cheeky dig.

While vlogging in camp, Semenyo turned his camera on Kudus and asked with a wide smile, “How was the game on Saturday, bro?”, a playful reference to Bournemouth’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham.

Kudus, unfazed, grinned and replied, “It was good, we will be back.”

The exchange drew laughter from teammates and coaching staff alike, highlighting the strong bond within the group.

For head coach Otto Addo, such moments are proof of a relaxed yet competitive atmosphere as the team sharpens up for their double-header.

With key players like Kudus and Semenyo in camp, the Black Stars are building momentum and morale, qualities they hope will translate into crucial victories against Chad away on September 4, 2025, and Mali in Accra on September 8, 2025.
