    In a recent update after announcing the death of her mother, gospel musician Empress Gifty has shared a post on social media, showing the outpouring of sympathy from friends, family, and well-wishers who visited her home to commiserate with her.

    In a video shared on Instagram, Empress Gifty, dressed in black and white, was captured in deep sorrow, surrounded by her husband, family, and sympathisers who took turns to console her.

    Members from the gospel music fraternity, including Obaapa Christy, Georgia Adjei, and Evangelist Diana Asamoah, were spotted in the video offering comforting words to Empress Gifty, who had been crying uncontrollably.

    The details of the funeral arrangements are yet to be disclosed to the public.

    On December 14, 2024, Empress Gifty took to social media to announce the heartbreaking news of her mother’s passing.

    The post garnered an outpouring of condolences from fans, family, and fellow celebrities.

    She revealed that her mother passed away after a brief illness.

    Known affectionately as ‘Agaga,’ Empress Gifty’s mother was a well-known actress who appeared in numerous TV commercials.

    Despite her age, she was known for her outspoken, bubbly personality and was a strong pillar of support for her daughter, frequently defending her against online trolls.

    In addition to her close relationship with her daughter, ‘Agaga’ shared a warm bond with her son-in-law, Mr. Hopeson Adorye.
