Content creator, Egungun of Lagos boldly declares formal education does not necessarily determine success as evidenced by his experience and staff credentials.
Given that he did not complete his university degree but was able to employ exceptional grads, the content creator acknowledged in an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze that education does not ensure success.
Following Daddy Freeze’s question on whether his staff attended school, Egungun responded that he and his chef studied at the University of Lagos. His chef obtained two degrees, graduating with a second-class upper division.
Additionally, he mentioned the majority of his employees are graduates, including his personal assistant and videographer, who both earned second-class degrees.
Several Nigerians have conflicting opinions about Egungun’s revelation regarding education and achievement.
Below are some reactions,
@iamku_jo If u finish school you have succeeded in defeating illiteracy. Not poverty oh. Enter street make u huzzle oh
@mayordgenius The Question is what is success to you? This differs with respect to individuals therefore, the index has to be the same for comparison to be made
@oyecooker I applaud and respect what you’re doing. Yes, sometimes we need practical examples like these, but it was unnecessary to embarrass those people like that
@Fatimah Zahra Education was never to make you rich, it is to make you enlightened and help you socialise and integrate properly in the society
@sway_omoluabi But he is also a graduate. You can be educated and still do whatever you want.
