Renowned Ghanaian luxury shopper, Maame Gold, has laid her father, Nana Adusei Sarkodie I, Buruku Ahodwo Hene, to rest.

The solemn ceremony took place on September 20, 2025, at Sepaase in Kumasi.

In videos circulating on social media, Maame Gold was seen in an uncontrollable state, despite being surrounded by family and friends.

However, beyond the tears and solemn atmosphere, the funeral and subsequent dinner featured several interesting and memorable moments.

Here are some highlights from the event:

    1. Guests received mouth-watering souvenirs, including mobile phones

Guests at the funeral were treated to an unexpected show of generosity. Many attendees left with unique and luxurious souvenirs, some of which surprised social media users when photos and videos surfaced online.
