WBC#35 feather Sathaporn Saart (18-3, 9KOs) successfully retained his WBC Asia 126lb title when he won a unanimous decision over WBC Asia#11 Shiki Kawamura (6-5, 2KOs) on Friday March 27 at Nakornluong Boxing Stadium, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
The fight was fierce and exciting, with both fighters exchanging punches in most of the action. Kawamura initially tried to disrupt Sathaporn’s rhythm with jabs, but Sathaporn played a fast-paced game, focusing on powerful body and face punches. Sathaporn’s timing became increasingly superior, showing no signs of fatigue. In contrast, the Japanese fighter began to show signs of wear and tear, including a visible cut on his lip. After the full 10 rounds, the judges scored the fight unanimously in favor of Thai fighter with scores of 98-92, 97-93, and 97-93.

In supporting bouts, WBC#4/WBA#5 fly Thananchai Charunphak (30-2, 16KOs) won a unanimous decision over Filipino Reymark Alicaba (10-11, 8KOs). All scorecards were read as 78-74.

Australian female 108lb champion Chloe Grech (4-0-1, 1KO) scored a 4th round TKO over former WBC Asia female title challenger Kullathida Kueasanor (9-7, 3KOs) in a 6-round scheduled bout.
