Ghana’s biggest rap spectacle, Rapperholic, is set to make its international debut in London next year. Sarkodie has confirmed that the 2026 edition of his annual concert will be staged in the UK, a first in the show’s more than decade-long history.

The rapper made the announcement on November 9, 2025, during Fameye’s London concert, where he surprised fans with the news and hinted that he plans to bring an all-star lineup to the British capital.

“Next year, we are bringing Rapperholic here. You’re going to see Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, R2Bees,” Sarkodie said, drawing cheers from the crowd.

The London debut follows a historic milestone earlier in 2025 when Sarkodie moved Rapperholic from its longtime home in Accra to Kumasi for a special “Homecoming” edition.

Held on September 27 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Kumasi concert was more than a show, it was a celebration of Sarkodie’s roots. In the weeks leading up to it, the city was electric. Posters filled the streets, rehearsal clips went viral, and excitement spread across social media. Sarkodie amplified the buzz by paying tribute to the Asantehene and joining fans for a massive health walk through the city.

When the big night arrived, heavy rains couldn’t dampen the energy. Fans poured into the stadium hours early, singing and dancing through the downpour as DJs and hype men kept spirits high.

The concert began with performances from emerging acts like Hindu and Kweku Bany, paving the way for crowd favourites Efya, Kweku Smoke, Kweku Flick, and Oseikrom Sikani before Sarkodie took the stage for his long-awaited return.
