Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie has revealed plans to launch a new record label aimed at supporting and nurturing budding talents in the music industry.

The boss of Sarkcess Music made the announcement today, September 25, 2025, during the Kumasi Rising Seminar held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The seminar formed part of activities lined up for his first-ever historic Rapperholic: The Homecoming concert, which will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

In a conversation with popular media personality Serwaa Amihere at the seminar, Sarkodie said he felt inspired to give back to the next generation of artists by creating a platform that will not only groom them but also expose them to the global stage.

Speaking about his earlier venture into managing artists under hia Sarkcess Music record label, he expressed pride in the achievements of artists like Akwaboah and Strongman, who once worked under his label.

According to him, both acts now enjoy strong fan bases and are thriving financially, proof that the investment in their careers paid off.

“I’m really proud of what we achieved with Sarkcess Music. Look at Akwaboah and Strongman now; they are standing tall and have built their own brands,” he said.

Sarkodie added that his management team is currently scouting fresh talent across the country and beyond. He assured that an official unveiling of the new label and its signees will be announced very soon.
