Sammy Flex, the manager of Shatta Wale, has addressed claims that he was not invited to the birthday party of businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye.

On March 22, 2025, the founder of Bills Micro-Credit hosted a star-studded event to mark his 40th birthday.

He invited dignitaries and celebrities from across Africa.

The event saw Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Efya, Davido, Diamond Platnumz and many others performing.

Apart from the plush birthday party held at the Black Star Square in Accra being the talk of the town, one of the conversations surrounding it was why Shatta Wale was not at the party or perform.

Some people speculated that he was not invited, while others alleged he was not pleased with the amount he was to be given to perform at the event.

Amid the rumours, Sammy Flex, in a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, confirmed that Wale was invited to the party.

He recalled being in the United Kingdom when Soriyah, a popular figure in the event-organizing space, called him about Shatta Wale’s invitation to the party.

Sammy Flex said he then directed her to one of their team members, and after his return to Ghana, he confirmed that the invitation had been delivered.

If they wanted to attend Richard Nii-Armah Quaye’s birthday party, Wale’s manager stated that all the team members would have been able to do so because Wale was invited.

However, Sammy Flex added that despite the invitation, every artiste has his or her value and what they believe in.
