Media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has shared her opinion on the recent standoff between Ningo-Prampram MP, Sam George, and MultiChoice Ghana, operators of DStv.
According to her, the MP is contradicting himself in how he has handled the situation so far.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Yaa Yeboah weighed in on the recent outcome of Sam George’s campaign for DStv to reduce subscription prices for Ghanaians.
She believes this contradicts the minister’s earlier position.

“Just be accountable to us and tell us that you couldn’t get a price reduction but this is the consensus you agreed on. But when you try to be dismissive and disrespectful to a journalist who decides to ask you questions, it’s gonna be a problem and people are going to troll you like this,” he said.
She also emphasized the need for transparency and accountability: “Just be honest with us. Tell Ghanaians, ‘I couldn’t get a price reduction, but this is what we’ve agreed on.’ That’s leadership. But being dismissive and disrespectful to journalists who ask you valid questions? That’s a problem. Of course, people will troll you.”
Yaa Yeboah concluded by calling for better communication from the minister: “As minister of communication, he needs to communicate for people to assimilate.”
