Elrad Amoako, the son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, has been remanded.

He was remanded by the Juvenile Court after his court appearance on Friday, November 1, 2024.

The 16-year-old will reappear before the court on November 7.

According to a report by Myjoyonline, his Ghanaian and US passports are to be surrendered and deposited at the court by Monday, November 4.

He was also directed by the court to undergo a medical review at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on November 4 as part of the conditions.

“This measure is to address any health considerations that may arise while he is in remand.

“In the event of any urgent medical issue during the period of remand, the court ordered that he should be taken to the Police Hospital for immediate treatment, ensuring he has access to essential medical care,” the report added.

This comes after the accident involving Elrad killed two individuals on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at East Legon, Accra.
