A new video of veteran Ghanaian musician Okomfour Kwadee has raised concerns about his health and psychological state.
In the said video, he performed some of his old songs verbatim without a shirt in a community. He looked frail and his ribcage was visible.
He wore dirty, worn-out shorts and dusty shoes as a small crowd gathered and cheered him on as he performed while seated.
Ghanaians who saw the video felt sad and sorry about his condition and called on industry players to support the legendary musician.
Okomfour Kwadee has battled with mental health issues and substance abuse for many years, visiting various psychiatric hospitals but have not recovered fully.
