    Rose Yeboah has secured a spot in the women high jump final Rose Yeboah has secured a spot in the women high jump final

    Ghana’s Rose Yeboah is through to the finals of the women’s high jump at the 2025 World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan.

    The athlete cleared an impressive height of 1.92m to advance to the final, where she will compete among the best for a medal.

    Before her final jump, she cleared 1.88m at her second attempt and moved up to 18th in the standings.

    Rose initially cleared 1.83m at her second attempt and then successfully cleared 1.88m in her next attempt.

    However, the automatic qualifying mark is 1.97m, but Rose qualified as she was among the top 12 performers.

    At the end of the qualification, Patterson, Topic, Olyslagers, Levchenko, Hruba, Zodzik, and Rose Yeboah all cleared 1.92m to occupy the top nine positions, with Balley placing 10th with 1.88m.

    The final will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo.
