Legendary DR Congo goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba thrilled fans at the Grassroots Football Festival during the CAF African Schools Championship with his trademark celebration, and the crowd loved every second of it.
Known worldwide for his famous bum-hop celebration, Kidiaba brought energy and nostalgia as he joined young players on the pitch in a moment of pure joy.
The retired shot-stopper, who spent most of his career with TP Mazembe, showed he’s lost none of the charisma that made him a fan favorite across the continent.
As the tournament aims to promote unity, fun, and development at the youth level, Kidiaba’s presence was a major highlight. Children and fans alike erupted in laughter and applause as he bounced across the grass, recreating the celebration that once lit up CAF Champions League nights and the Africa Cup of Nations.
