Ghanaian businessman and entrepreneur, Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, has officially stepped down from his roles as CEO and board chairman of Quick Angels and Bills Micro-Credit.

He made the announcement during a press event held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Following his resignation, Kwadwo Dei Kwarteng Esq. will assume the position of Chairman at Bills Micro Credit, while Emmanuel N. L. Lamptey will take over as CEO of Quick Angels.

The resignation forms part of Quaye’s previously announced plans to retire from the business world, a move he revealed several weeks ago.

Despite stepping away from his former roles, Quaye unveiled a new venture, RNAQ Holdings, signaling the beginning of a fresh chapter.

During the ceremony, Richard Nii-Armah Quaye expressed that as he commences his retirement from all his business engagements in Ghana and internationally, whether as CEO or Board Chairman, he is choosing to dedicate his time and energy to leading a new vision.

He explained that this vision involves uniting young individuals who possess financial resources, remarkable skills, and early-stage businesses, with the goal of scaling operations significantly to ignite an economic revolution that will elevate the nation’s prosperity and strength.

The Ghanaian businessman emphasized that his sole aspiration is to see Ghana thrive economically and made it clear he has no political ambitions, countering any speculations suggesting otherwise.

His decision to retire follows his grand 40th birthday celebration at Black Star Square in Accra, an event that captured significant attention both in Ghana and across the African continent, drawing many high-profile personalities from various countries.
