He was the shy, bespectacled and innocent-looking schoolboy given a steamy kiss by a much older Demi Moore – in a vintage video clip that went viral after she received her first Oscar nomination.
And now, for the first time, MailOnline can reveal the identity of the boy who appeared not to know whether to blush or ask for more when he was passionately kissed by the actress when he was just 15 – and his life story may surprise you.
In the resurfaced footage, Moore, who was four years older than her colleague, performatively leans over, plants her lips on his, and proceeds to kiss the fresh-faced boy with apparent sexual relish.
The footage, recorded back in 1982, went viral last month – and left fans divided on whether it was funny or disturbingly inappropriate, given his evident young age.
But it left viewers on both sides of that debate wondering what happened to the boy in question, Philip Tanzini – but now MailOnline can answer that question.
Tanzini, now aged 58, was born in Los Angeles and still lives in the entertainment capital and it is believed he never married or had any children.
He is understood to enjoy a comfortable life in the sunny West-side city, becoming one of the most successful voice over artists in the US after his acting career.
In a 1982 video, first aired by Entertainment Tonight, the then 19-year-old can be seen sharing several passionate kisses with General Hospital co-star Philip Tanzini at his 15th birthday party
The clip had previously been doing the rounds on social media as Demi dominates headlines following her career-defying night at the Golden Globes

At the time of the video, Demi was married to her first husband Freddy Moore (pictured) but that didn’t stop the Indecent Proposal star
An LA TV source said: ‘Every TV viewer in America will – without realising it – have heard Philip’s voice many times – he’s huge.’
Philip first met Moore, now 62, in the early 1980s while both were appearing in the hit US TV show General Hospital, which would become the longest running soap opera in television history.
The youngster played the role of Jeremy Logan and featured on the show from 1978 until 1982.
That year Moore joined the cult series, playing the role of investigative reporter Jackie Templeton.
She left the show a year later hoping to break into cinema – which she later did, becoming one of the biggest stars of the nineties starring in hit movies like Ghost and Indecent Proposal.
But the two formed a close bond during their time on General Hospital which is believed to have endured over the years – despite the apparent uncomfortable nature of that now infamously filmed kiss.
Prior to becoming a prolific child actor, Philip’s initial break into the entertainment world actually came as a voice over artist – and it was to this he would very successfully later return.
He was discovered by a voice over coach in the office reception room while waiting to meet a leading Hollywood agent and rapidly made a name for himself, doing voice overs for animation giants Hana-Barbara.

His voice was used in a number of other Hollywood productions but in 1978 he landed a role in front of the camera on General Hospital, kick starting his acting career.
After leaving General Hospital, he also featured in a number of other popular US TV shows such as: ‘Love Boat’ ‘WKRP in Cincinnati,’ ‘Archie Bunker’s Place’ ‘Eight is Enough and many more.
But in the early 1990s, while still in his 20s, Tanzini decided to give up acting and focus solely on voice over work.
He has since established himself as one of America’s leading voice over artists.
He has featured as the network voice for a number of leading US channels including ABC, Fox, ESPN, HBO. The Discovery Channel and G4.
His voice has also been used in advertisements for top US companies such as McDonalds. Ford, Wal-Mart, Ulta and Universal Studios.
His animation credits include his voice being featured on The Simpsons, Kung Fu Panda and other animations such as Static Shock and Invader Zim.
Tanzini’s website states that he has also narrated popular TV shows such as ‘El True Hollywood Story’ and ‘Lived to Tell on the Discovery Channel.
Demi Moore starring in the Oscar nominated film The Subtance, which quickly went viral for its gory story line
Demi had gone to speak to Elle Fanning shortly after her Golden Globe win for best Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy Award for her film, The Substance
At the same time, his voice has also been used in popular video games such as Star Wars Jedi Academy and Lara Croft Tomb Raider.
But it is the kissing video with Moore, which was initially aired on Entertainment Tonight in 1982 for which he remains the most remembered.
The IMDb website that contains information about the entertainment industry and those who work in it says of him: ‘Lucky enough to get kissed multiple times by Demi Moore (who recently turned 19) at his 15th birthday celebration.
‘The occasion was filmed by Entertainment Tonight for him to relive forever.’
In the video with Tanzini, Moore, who was 19 at the time, tells the camera: ‘I love him dearly. He’s one of my most favourite people.’
At the time she was married to her first husband Freddy Moore, but that did not stop the Indecent Proposal star from getting up close and personal with her underage co-star.
Clearly a little worse for wear, Moore says: ‘I love Philip and he’s the only one I love.’
Tanzini joins in on the joke, saying: ‘We’re going to get married by the way. Don’t let her husband find out.’
A laughing Demi replies: ’I can’t wait. He really is truly terrific. He is, and I love him because he keeps me happy.’
The attention on Moore came after she was nominated for her first Oscar for her role in The Substance.
