Nana Ama McBrown’s quiet generosity played a crucial role in TikTok influencer Osanju’s long fight with leukemia, according to a relative who shared emotional memories of his final months.

Speaking in an interview circulating on social media on September 2, 2025, the family member recalled that Osanju’s health crises often struck at night, forcing frantic hospital visits while the young creator juggled mounting medical bills. Despite the constant strain, she said, Osanju managed to secure treatment through sheer determination and the kindness of people he had never met.

Among those supporters, McBrown stood out.

“He got money from a lot of sympathisers, especially Nana Ama McBrown. He said she gave him some money he could have used to build a storey building. But he used it to buy medicine to save his life,” she recounted.

She described repeatedly rushing Osanju to nearby hospitals with her husband whenever his condition worsened. Matters escalated when he was admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital, a moment she said left her fearing the worst. Her anxiety deepened when an ambulance transferred him to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where she sensed the tragic outcome was near.

The relative also expressed gratitude to Osanju’s landlord, who assisted in shuttling him between facilities during his final battle.
