UK-based Ghanaian musician Reggie Zippy’s ex-wife, Edith Ward, has publicly responded to his recent comments about their children, accusing him of presenting a misleading narrative about his access to them.
Edith made the remarks in an Instagram post on Sunday, September 27, 2026, a day after their son Nolan celebrated his birthday.
In her post, Edith urged Reggie Zippy, whose real name is Reginald Ainooson, to stop giving the impression that he has been prevented from communicating with or seeing their children.

According to her, Reggie has publicly acknowledged that he has the children’s contact details, stressing that Nolan’s phone number has remained unchanged.
She further disputed claims that a court order had prevented the musician from having access to their children.
Edith insisted that there has never been a custody battle in which the children were taken away from Reggie or an order barring him from seeing them.
The latest development adds to a long-running public disagreement between the former couple over access to their three children.
Reggie Zippy and Edith Ward were married for 15 years before their marriage officially ended in divorce on August 11, 2023.
Since the divorce, the pair have engaged in a number of public exchanges concerning their children, with Reggie repeatedly alleging that Edith prevented him from having access to them.
Edith, however, has previously denied the allegations and maintained a different account of the circumstances surrounding his relationship with the children.
