Spanish giants Real Madrid have made a crucial decision regarding the future of Turkish midfielder Arda Guler.

The midfield gem, who turns 21 next month, joined Los Blancos from Turkish giants Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2023 on a 6-year-deal after snubbing Barcelona.

Since the departure if Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, Madrid have struggled to construct their midfield with reports linking Man City midfielder Rodri as well as PSG’s Vitinha to the Bernabeu.

However, according to the latest reports from Spain, the club’s hierarchy has made a key decision regarding their midfield.

Instead of going to the market for a new midfield, Alvaro Arbeloa’s technical has been tasked to improve the defensive qualities of the midfield and mould him to become the missing link in the Madrid midfield.

Under Álvaro Arbeloa, Guler is a guaranteed starter, and the team’s creativity will largely flow through him.

At the same time, the manager wants to further develop his defensive contribution – a challenge the player has fully embraced.

Real Madrid have tasked Antonio Pintus with improving his physicality as the club plans to invest heavily in the Turk.

Inside Valdebebas, there is complete belief in his quality on the ball and his exceptional creativity, with the club fully backing his long-term development.

Arda Güler is untouchable in Alvaro Arbeloa’s starting XI. The coach believes no one else in the squad matches his creativity, and even Mbappé prefers having the Turk on the field; their chemistry has skyrocketed since the start of the season, reports Cadena SER.
