Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah has donated millions of cedis to church members

General Overseer of the Believers Worship Centre, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, has made headlines after donating a staggering GH₵51 million to members of his congregation.

The act, which took place at the church’s headquarters in Kenyasi-Adwumam, near Teacher Nkwanta, Kumasi, has been circulating on social media, with many describing it as one of the largest cash donations by a religious leader in recent times.

In videos circulating online, the man of God was seen supervising the distribution of the money as church members lined up to receive their portions.

I will share GH¢50 million in 2025 – Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah announces

According to reports, the donation was shared among about 20,000 members of the church.

The money was arranged in stacks, and ushers coordinated the distribution in an orderly fashion.

Members who received their share were visibly emotional, some smiling and singing, others dancing in excitement and gratitude.

If shared equally among all recipients, each person would have received approximately GH₵2,562.50.

The gesture was part of what the church described as a “thanksgiving distribution” to appreciate members for their loyalty and faith.

This is not the first time the Believers Worship Centre founder has made such a donation. On January 1, 2025, he gifted GH₵2.2 million to church members who lost their businesses and properties in the Kantamanto fire.

The Believers Worship Centre was founded in 1988 in Nigeria and later expanded to Ghana under Adom Kyei-Duah’s leadership.
