On the night of October 12, 2025, the Accra Sports Stadium was charged with excitement as fans gathered to support the Black Stars of Ghana in their final qualifier match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Among the crowd were some of the biggest names in entertainment, proving once again that sports and showbiz go hand in hand.
Before kickoff, musician and socialite Hajia4Reall spoke to 3Sports, predicting a 2:0 victory for the Black Stars.
She even named Mohammed Kudus and Fatawu Issahaku as her picks to find the net. Though Ghana didn’t quite hit her predicted scoreline, Hajia4Reall was spot-on about Kudus making the scoresheet.

D-Black also showed up in high spirits, sharing the same prediction, a 2:0 win for Ghana, and backing Kudus to score as well.
James Gardiner took things up a notch with an “outrageous” prediction.
Afrobeats musician Kelvynboy joined the pre-match excitement too, calling for a 3–0 win in Ghana’s favour.
The stands at the stadium was packed with more familiar faces from Ghana’s entertainment scene.
Medikal, Olivetheboy, Nigerian content creator Jarvis, media personality Cookie Tee, and Sister Deborah were all spotted among the crowd, cheering on the Black Stars.
The DJ kept fans hyped throughout the evening, spinning hit after hit from Ghana’s biggest acts.
Shatta Wale’s music dominated the playlist, a nod to the fact that Ghana’s goalkeeper is a staunch supporter of the Shatta Movement.
After the final whistle confirmed Ghana’s qualification, social media lit up with celebration.
Celebrities flooded X and Instagram with posts praising the team’s performance and expressing renewed confidence in the squad ahead of the World Cup.
Among those leading the online celebration was media personality Nana Aba Anamoah, who threw a challenge to the world’s biggest football nations.
“Put us in any group at the WC, we go lash them. France, Argentina, Brazil, whoever and whatever. Them go take,” Nana Aba wrote.
Her colleague Serwaa Amihere also joined the fun, taking the opportunity to throw a playful jab at Ghana’s rivals, Nigeria, who may miss out on the 2026 tournament.
“Morocco: Pot 4, Tunisia: Pot 5, Egypt: Pot 1, Ghana: Pot 2, Algeria: Pot 3, Nigeria: Port Harcourt,” Serwaa posted.
