A heartwarming photo from the final music video shoot of Ghanaian Highlife legend Daddy Lumba has surfaced online, stirring fresh emotions just weeks after his passing.

The image, shared on the late musician’s official TikTok page on October 1, 2025, was taken during the shoot for his unreleased single, just three weeks before his death on July 26, 2025.

In the photo, Daddy Lumba appeared vibrant and full of life, posing with a group of elegant women in a lavish residence where the video was being filmed.

The caption accompanying the post read: “Final Project: Lumba shooting a video for his new single three weeks before he passed.”

The resurfaced photo comes shortly after a video capturing Daddy Lumba’s first recording studio in Germany was shared online.

This was spotted in a moment where a group of fans visited his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, at her residence, where the modest studio has been carefully preserved.

The studio still houses vintage recording equipment including a sound mixer, preamps, piano, and computer.

Shelves were neatly lined with Compact Discs of his recorded works, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the early days of Daddillustrious career.

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, leaves behind a legacy as one of Ghana’s most celebrated and influential musicians, with a career spanning over three decades.

Daddy Lumba died at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, after reportedly being admitted due to illness. He was 60.

Subsequently, a one-week memorial was held on August 30, 2025, at the Black Star Square, drawing thousands of fans and dignitaries.
