Sarkodie is a Ghanaian rapper and the brain behind Rapperholic

Rapperholic is heading to London in 2026, as Sarkodie has confirmed plans to take his annual concert to the UK for the first time.

The announcement came during Fameye’s London concert on November 9, 2025, where Sarkodie surprised the crowd with the update and assured fans that he won’t be coming alone.

Speaking on stage, he told the excited audience that the 2026 edition will feature some of the biggest artistes in Ghana, such as Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Black Sherif, among others.

Was Sarkodie’s ‘Rapperholic Homecoming’ the biggest concert Kumasi has ever seen?

“Next year, we are bringing Rapperholic here. You’re going to see Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, R2Bees,” Sarkodie said.

The announcement follows a landmark moment in September 2025, when Sarkodie moved the Rapperholic concert from Accra to Kumasi for a special “Homecoming” edition.

The event, which was held on September 27, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, marked a return to the city where his journey began.

Ahead of the show, Kumasi was buzzing, posters lined the streets, rehearsal videos spread across social platforms, and anticipation grew by the day.

Sarkodie added to the momentum by paying homage to the Asantehene and leading a health walk through the city.

When the night came, fans trooped into the stadium early, undeterred by heavy rains. A downpour that lasted nearly an hour didn’t stop the crowd, who kept the energy up through DJ and hypeman sets.

The atmosphere stayed charged as people danced through the weather, eager for Sarkodie’s return to his roots.

The concert opened with young artistes such as Hindu and Kweku Bany, followed by performances from Efya, Kweku Smoke, Kweku Flick, and Oseikrom Sikani.
