Gyan was in top form as Clemson battled past Pitt

Ransford Gyan netted his second brace of the season, capped off by a goal from Nathan Richmond, to secure a 3-2 win over Pitt on Friday night at Historic Riggs Field.

Pitt struck first in the fifth minute, but Gyan quickly equalised in the 21st minute to record his fifth goal of the season.

Gyan did not wait long before scoring his sixth goal of the season in the 36th minute, drawing out Pitt’s goalkeeper to slot into a wide-open net.

Pitt scored their second goal to level the score at 2-2 in the 62nd minute.

On the 80th-minute mark, Richmond found the right corner of the goal to net the match-winner. Richmond has now scored in four consecutive matches this season.
