Ghanaian media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has emphasised that, in the wake of the helicopter tragedy, the immediate families of the eight fallen heroes need dedicated support for their psychological well-being.
Speaking on United Showbiz on August 17, 2025, Yaa Yeboah stated that the initiative will help them cope with the weight of their loss and preserve their well-being.
She added that the wives and children of the fallen heroes are very courageous for reading their tribute while the world was watching.

“One of the things that was difficult for me to watch was the tribute by the wives. I didn’t know where they got their strength from because this death is not under normal circumstances,” she said.
She continued, “For me, the tribute that the wives and children read, honestly speaking, I want to say they’re very courageous.”
The media personality further urged doctors and the government to prioritise the families’ mental health and give them psychological support, which could contribute to their healing process.
“One of the things we don’t usually value is our mental health. We feel with time, we’ll get better but some of the pain, you never get better. I will urge that if there’s going to be any form of psychological support from the doctors or even the government, to make sure their everyday living is well taken care of.”

She then sympathised with the families, praying that God gives them the strength to endure their loss.
“I’ve never had to experience that level of pain yet in my life. Wherever they got the strength from for them to be able to stand on stage and read, where the whole world was watching, I must commend them and I pray God will continue to give them the strength for them to be able to cope with the aftermath of their loss,” she added.
