A protester at a Melbourne rally against Pauline Hanson‘s One Nation has stolen a microphone from a News24 reporter.

News24 reporter Georgie Dickerson was reporting live from the Melbourne student rally when a protester ran over and grabbed her microphone.

“We had to chase that protester through the packed crowd,” Dickerson said.

Dickerson was then able to stop the protester and retrieve the microphone.

She said the protest had been peaceful for the most part.

While she was doing her live cross, protesters could be heard swearing and yelling ‘f*** Pauline.’

That forced the News24 anchor to apologise live on air.
