Prophet Roja has recounted his spiritual support for Kotoko

Prophet Samuel Henry, well-known as Prophet Roja, has disclosed that he prayed against the success of Asante Kotoko after the club failed to appreciate his efforts in the past.

According to Prophet Roja, he met with the Kotoko Interim Management Committee Chairman, Nana Apinkra, to outline conditions for the club’s success—conditions he claims were later fulfilled.

However, the prophet claimed that the club abandoned him after the prophecy was fulfilled, leaving him highly disappointed.

“I met with Nana Apinkra one night and told him I’d pray for the team to win trophies. I asked them to do certain things, which they did, and they started winning.”

“While I was in the US, I realised they had won a cup, but nobody from the club called to thank me,” he said in Twi during an interview with Angel FM.

Prophet Roja further revealed that the ingratitude from the Porcupine Warriors officials prompted him to pray against the club, and they began recording a poor run of results.

“I prayed against them, and they started losing matches. After a while, the club officials, led by a lawyer, came to beg me to forgive them when they were about to play a cup match. The result initially favored their opponents, but they appealed to me, and I intervened in their favor, and they won the game 2-1,” he added.
