Prophet Fire Oja has talked again following his second court appearance in the ongoing legal clash with singer Mzbel, delivering a direct message to her.

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the pastor attended the second hearing in the case Mzbel filed against him. After leaving the courtroom, he spoke to the media about his stance and the controversy surrounding their dispute.

Prophet Fire Oja made it clear that he will not apologise to Mzbel unless a court orders him to do so. He also told the singer to stop spreading falsehoods.

He insisted that Mzbel has repeatedly made untrue statements regarding the situation. He recalled that during the first hearing, she took to social media claiming that he had been detained, a claim he described as entirely false. He said that when the police summoned him, she misrepresented the situation as an arrest, creating a misleading narrative for the public.

The conflict between the two began after Prophet Fire Oja alleged that Mzbel experienced serious health complications in 2025 following a visit to a traditionalist named Ola Maame for a so-called “soul travel” ritual. He claimed that these complications required her to be hospitalised for treatment.

The pastor also accused Mzbel of collaborating with the traditionalist to mislead women who visited Ola Maame’s shrine in Kasoa. Mzbel has consistently denied these allegations, challenging anyone to provide proof of any negative experience with the spiritualist.

Through her lawyers, Mzbel issued a legal notice demanding that Prophet Fire Oja retract his statements, apologise, and provide compensation. The notice reportedly gave him ten days to comply. The pastor’s refusal to respond prompted the singer to escalate the matter to court.
