Public Relations Officer for Nurses at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Sarah Danquah, has disclosed that there exists a video capturing Ralph, the relative at the center of the Ridge Hospital assault case, slapping a pregnant senior nurse during the incident.
According to her, the footage contradicts the impression created by the investigative committee’s findings, which concluded that there was no evidence of assault beyond verbal exchanges.
Mrs. Danquah further alleged that the committee failed to extend an invitation to the nurses involved, or their representatives, to present their side of the matter before concluding its report.
“We were never called to appear before the committee, neither were we given the opportunity to submit evidence, including the video in question. That is why we are shocked at the outcome of the findings,” she emphasized.
