Prince “The Buzz” Larbie stole the spotlight at the 2026 Accra Box Cup amateur boxing competition, delivering a dominant performance in the final held in Accra.

The event, organized by Wisdom Boxing Gym in collaboration with Outboxed and supported by Boxing Ghana, featured several talented young fighters, but it was Larbie who captured the attention of fans.

Representing Will Power Boxing Club, Larbie faced Jeffrey Sowah of Wisdom Boxing Gym in an intense juvenile final. From the opening bell, Larbie imposed his aggressive style, overwhelming his opponent with power punches and relentless pressure.

Sowah struggled to cope with the pace and power of Larbie, who displayed confidence, composure, and technical sharpness throughout the bout. Despite attempts to respond, Sowah was unable to turn the fight in his favour.

Larbie, widely known as “Prince The Buzz,” secured a decisive victory to claim the gold medal, further cementing his reputation as one of the brightest prospects in Ghanaian amateur boxing.

His coach and father, Daniel Larbie, also known as Nii Otokunor IV, praised his dedication, noting that the long-term goal remains world championship success through disciplined training and steady progression.

The victory drew loud applause from fans inside the arena on Saturday night in Accra.
