Prince Osei Owusu delivered the match-winning moment as CF Montreal secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over New York City FC in round 10 of the MLS at the Stade Saputo.

The Ghanaian striker struck in the 18th minute, finishing calmly to hand the home side an early advantage that ultimately proved decisive in a closely contested encounter.

Owusu continues to enjoy a remarkable campaign, having now featured in nine matches while registering six goals and four assists, establishing himself as one of the most in-form forwards in the league.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, having earned his first call-up to the Black Stars in November 2025 for international friendlies against Japan and South Korea.

CF Montreal will aim to build on this victory when they travel to face Atlanta United at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in their next MLS fixture.
