Choirmaster says Praye’s legacy in music will live on

Chiormaster, a member of the popular ‘Praye’ music group, has stated that his team’s contribution to Ghanaian music is unforgettable and their name will always be remembered.

Speaking in an interview with Dr Pounds on Hitz FM, Choirmaster explained that Praye did not break up due to any conflict, as many people assumed.

He said the group came back together a few years ago to clear those rumours and show that there was no bad blood among them.

“The thing about Praye is that some people thought we broke up. I think we came back some few years ago. So to let people know we didn’t have any differences,” Choirmaster stated.

However, he admitted that even though they are still on good terms, things have changed.

According to him, they can no longer work together the way they used to because each member is now focused on their own individual path.

“But working together like the way we started, it’s different now. Now everybody is on a different level. We’ve grown, we are all doing our different businesses and all that,” he said.

Choirmaster also narrated how hearing one of their hit songs, Angelina, on the radio brings back old memories.

He said it reminds him of the past and also brings nostalgia to fans who enjoyed Praye’s music during their active years.

“It brings back memories, all the fans when you drop stuff like that it brings memories to them too,” he shared.

Speaking on Praye’s place in Ghana’s music history, Choirmaster stated that their name will always have a place in Ghana’s musical legacy.

“I always say, in the good music book of Ghana, Praye’s name can never be erased from that,” he added.
