Jeffrey Schlupp plays his first game for Celtic

Ghanaian defender, Jeffrey Schlupp, made a dream start to his Celtic career, earning widespread acclaim after an impressive debut for the Scottish giants.

The former Leicester City man only arrived at the club on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, but was immediately named in the matchday squad to face Dundee on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, by manager Brendan Rodgers.

It didn’t take long for him to make an impact, as he came on in the 72nd minute to replace Greg Taylor. The 32-year-old helped Celtic secure their first clean sheet in three games as they cruised to a dominant 6-0 victory.

His performance has drawn high praises from the Celtic faithful, with many wishing him success at his new club.

With this emphatic win, Celtic move closer to another Premiership title and remain on course for a fourth consecutive league triumph, and their ninth in ten seasons.
