Port City will be officially crowned champions of Zone Three of the Access Bank Division One League on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park following a successful campaign that has secured their promotion to the Ghana Premier League next season.

The coronation ceremony will coincide with their Matchday 28 fixture, where they are scheduled to face former Premier League side WAFA SC in what is expected to be a celebratory atmosphere. WAFA SC are set to form a guard of honour for the newly crowned champions, marking a symbolic recognition of Port City’s achievement.

Port City’s triumph caps off an impressive season in the second tier, as they emerged as the dominant side in Zone Three to book their place among Ghana’s elite clubs.

The promotion represents a significant milestone for the club, which will now prepare for the challenges of top-flight football in the upcoming season.

Fans and stakeholders are expected to gather in large numbers at Kukurantumi to witness the historic occasion and celebrate the club’s success.

The coronation is set to be a fitting reward for Port City’s consistency and determination throughout the campaign.
