    TikTok personality David Afful, who refers to himself as “Kwame Nkrumah II,” has been sentenced to seven months in prison for threatening the lives of President John Dramani Mahama and other government officials.

    The 30-year-old, whose full name is David Kwodow Prah Afful, was captured in a viral video making violent threats.

    In the video, he claimed he would kill the President, Members of Parliament, and other officials if he had access to a gun or a cutlass.

    Following his online outbursts, Afful was arrested by the police.

    He appeared before an Accra Circuit Court, where he pleaded guilty to charges of ‘threat of death’ and ‘offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace’.

    In court, he expressed remorse and pleaded for forgiveness from government officials.

    Afful was also reported to have threatened to burn marketplaces and incite others to commit similar acts.

    He was apprehended by police at his hideout near Kasoa Market at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
