The Ghana Police Service has intervened to restore calm at Christian Methodist School in New Aplaku, Weija, following a violent altercation between students and local youth over an allegedly stolen phone.

Police Assurances & Evacuation Plan
ASP Godfred Bampoe, Crime Officer at Weija SCC Police Station, addressed students, explaining the evacuation process:
🔹 Female students evacuated first under police escort.
🔹 Students were escorted in three batches, with 10 per line.
🔹 Officers ensured a safe and orderly exit from the school.
The police remain on high alert to prevent potential reprisals, ensuring the safety of students and staff as investigations continue.
