Ghanaian women’s side, Police Ladies Football Club, have completed the signing of Danish forward Laura Juul Hansen.

The club announced the acquisition of the attacker in a notice on social media on Tuesday, August 19.

The Danish forward has been recruited to augment the team’s squad for the upcoming debut in the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025 WAFU B Qualifiers.

“Let’s welcome Danish forward Laura Juul Hansen to the Polas family,” Police Ladies FC said in a post on X.

Police Ladies, after winning last season’s Ghana Women’s Premier League, will represent the country in the 2025 WAFU B Qualifiers for the next CAF Women’s Champions League competition.

Drawn in Group B, the team will begin their WAFU B Qualifiers against Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens FC on Sunday, August 24.

They will then face Benin’s Sam Nelly and Togo’s ASKO, with their final group match against ASKO scheduled for Saturday, August 30.

The qualifiers, which will run from August 23 to September 4, will be staged at the Stade Charles Konan Banny in Yamoussoukro.

Police Ladies must win the WAFU B tournament to secure the sole ticket to represent the zone at the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.
