The Ghana Police Service has declared a suspect, identified as Hoyeefi, wanted in connection with a robbery attack at Nkaseim in the Ahafo Region, as investigations into the incident continue.
As part of efforts to secure his arrest, the police have announced a GH¢50,000 reward for any person who provides credible information leading to the suspect’s whereabouts.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, and shared with The Ghanaian Times, said investigations had identified Hoyeefi as the leader of a robbery gang operating in the area.
According to the statement, the gang was responsible for coordinated attacks on the Nkaseim Police Station, the Adwumapa Cocoa Buying Company, the Kobby Gold Buying Company, and areas around the Asutifi Rural Bank on December 2, 2025.
The attacks, the statement noted, were carried out in a well-coordinated manner, heightening security concerns in the affected communities and prompting intensified investigations by the CID.
The police have appealed to members of the public to assist with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.
Anyone with credible information is urged to contact the nearest police station or call the police emergency numbers 191, 18555 or 112.
The statement assured the public that all information received would be treated with strict confidentiality and reaffirmed the police service’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property nationwide.
