The grand launch of the Despite Auto Museum on Saturday, June 1, 2025, continues to spark conversations across Ghana, not only for its stunning collection of rare luxury cars and vintage classics but also for the bold vision it represents.

As discussions about this achievement continue, celebrated Ghanaian media personality Nana Romeo Welewele has added his voice to a call that many in the entertainment industry have quietly echoed for years.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz show on Saturday, June 7, 2025, Nana Romeo, who recently joined Despite Media as the new host of Okay FM’s drive-time show, could not hide his amazement over what he witnessed at the museum. “When I entered the museum, I was honestly shocked,” he said.

Nana Romeo went on to plead with Dr. Osei Kwame Despite to kindly construct an ultra-modern auditorium dedicated to the creative arts industry in Ghana.

According to Nana Romeo, such a facility would serve as a venue for shows, concerts, and industry events, as the industry currently do not have many fit for purpose and state of the art auditorium.

The former Accra FM presenter added that he knows Dr. Osei Kwame Despite has already has the industry at heart taking into account the things he does for industry so this would not be too difficult for him to do.
