Piesie Esther has shared a different picture of Shatta Wale, saying her own encounters with the Dancehall artiste reveal a far more grounded personality than the public often assumes.
During an interview on Angel FM, the popular gospel musician recalled meeting Wale when she was preparing for one of her programs. That interaction, she said, challenged the widespread narratives surrounding him.
“I have met Shatta Wale before, and I must confess he is a very humble and respectful person. The last time I was organising my program, I met him during an interview, and I was happy with the way he hugged me. I even asked him to do an advert for me, which he happily did,” she said.

Esther explained that the impression he left on her was consistent with how he treats others in the industry, regardless of their musical background.
“Shatta Wale loves everyone, and he is always happy when he sees gospel musicians. I was happy with the way he hugged me. I have loved him ever since,” the gospel singer further stated.
However, many people have had different thoughts about Shatta Wale due to his utterances over the years.
