Police have released a picture of a man who was allegedly beaten to death with a concrete slab on the Isle of Sheppey.

Alexander Cashford, 49, was found dead with multiple serious injuries in Leysdown-on-Sea on Sunday.

A 16-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, have been charged with his murder.

Kent Police were called to reports of ‘an altercation’ in the Warden Bay Road area, near to Jetty Road, shortly after 7pm.

The force say it is alleged the victim was assaulted following a disturbance involving a small group of people.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Mr Cashford was confirmed deceased at the scene.

A short while later, the two teenage boys and girl were arrested and taken into custody.
