This is the first picture of one of two women stabbed to death in a double Christmas Day murder that also left two other people hurt and a dog dead.

Teohna Grant, 24, was attacked in the flat where she lived just as millions were sitting down to watch Wallace and Gromit on Christmas Day evening.

Teohna, who is thought to have been a railway worker, was fatally stabbed along with a 38-year-old woman, while a 17-year-old boy and another man in his 20’s were left with serious injuries in the horrific attack.

Police and paramedics were called to a block of flats at just after 6.30pm on Christmas Day, in Bletchley near Milton Keynes after worried neighbours heard screams for help and raised the alarm.

One described how a white pit-bull was seen limping away from the scene covered in blood and although recovered by police and taken to a vet it died from its injuries.

Teohna Grant is thought to have moved to Bletchley three years ago and had previously lived in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, with her family.

Her sister Parris Grant told MailOnline: ‘We’re not talking to anyone at the moment.’

On Friday police were continuing a forensic examination of the flats and nearby alleyways following the Christmas Day horror which left locals shocked.

One told MailOnline: ‘I heard screaming and shouting looked outside and the boy was outside saying ‘I’ve been stabbed’ he was covered in blood and had wounds to his chest and head.

‘There was a woman on the balcony screaming for help and saying she couldn’t breathe and then the guy who did it ran out of the flats, got into his car and drove off but police were there within seconds and we told them where to go and he was caught.’

Another neighbour showed MailOnline CCTV footage of what looked like a white pit-bull limping away covered in blood and police later said the dog was taken to a vet but did not survive.

He added: ‘It’s not what you expect around here, it’s pretty quiet and not what you expect on Christmas Day of all days. It’s really knocked everyone because it is so quiet around here.’

Locals said the fatal stabbings took place in a top floor balcony and an England flag could been seen fluttering from the handrail of the two-storey building and there was also a bloodied handprint clearly visible on the metal.

Police were also examining the front door of a house opposite the apartment block, which was also blood stained and one of the victims is believed to have knocked there to frantically ask for help.

As officers carried out their door-to-door investigation, residents also left floral tributes at a corner close the scene while others tied bouquets to the fence of a park opposite the apartment block.

A 49-year-old man who lives locally has been held by police on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
