US-based Ghanaian entertainer Archipalago has claimed that many people secretly admire him but remain envious of his progress and vibrant personality.
Speaking in a recent interview on Okay FM, Archipalago stated that although several individuals pretend not to support him publicly, they follow and listen to him privately.
“People hide behind closed doors to listen to me. They’ve accepted me but they’re envious of me,” he said.
According to him, he does not understand why some people dislike him, but he believes their resentment stems from his growth and achievements abroad.
“I don’t know what I’ve done to some people but I think they’re pained. They envy the fact that I’m abroad. They wish they wouldn’t hear anything good from me or that nothing good is going on in my life,” he shared.

Archipalago described his personality as one that naturally attracts attention and envy, adding that his frequent travels only intensify the resentment of his critics.
“My energy is envious and I’m also a traveller. I pity those who don’t like me because they would be seeing me everywhere,” he noted.
He further said that he pioneered the trend of social media rants in Ghana, explaining that although he was mocked for it at the beginning, many now rely on the same style for relevance.
“I was the one who introduced going on social media to rant. When I started it, people insulted me but now some people have made it their daily bread,” he added.
