Peller has learned an expensive lesson about generosity, and he is sharing it with everyone.
The popular Nigerian streamer took to a TikTok livestream recently to recount a situation that has clearly been sitting with him, one that started with a good intention and ended with a quiet betrayal that cost him, not in money directly, but in something that stings just as much.
Peller had introduced his biggest gifter, a supporter he refers to as Mafia, to his friend JoBlaq, a content creator and musician in his circle. It seemed like a simple, harmless thing to do. You have a generous person in your corner, your friend is talented, why not make the connection?

What happened next is what he did not see coming.
Mafia went ahead and gifted JoBlaq twenty thousand dollars. And JoBlaq said nothing. Did not call. Did not text. Did not acknowledge the introduction that made the whole thing possible in the first place. Peller found out the way you find out things you were never meant to find out, through other people.
“I introduced my biggest gifter, Mafia, to JoBlaq, and he ended up gifting JoBlaq $20,000. This guy didn’t even tell me that Mafia gave him money. People warned me I’d regret introducing him to Mafia, but I didn’t listen. Now I regret it,” Peller said during the stream.
The part that seems to sting the most is not even the money itself. It is the fact that people around him had seen it coming. He had been warned, specifically, that introducing JoBlaq to Mafia was a decision he would come to regret. He brushed it off. He trusted his friend. And then it played out exactly the way he had been told it would.
The clip has been circulating since the livestream, and the reactions have been split between people sympathising with Peller and others who found the whole thing painfully relatable. The lesson, apparently, is one a lot of people have learned the hard way: be very careful who you put in the room with your blessings.
