Kofi Donkor, the manager and husband of Ghanaian Gospel singer, Celestine Donkor, has expressed his displeasure over unpaid royalties by Boomplay.

In a Facebook post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Mr Donkor urged the streaming platform to pay the royalties they owed them.

He hinted in his post that Boomplay’s office in Ghana will be closing down soon.

In this vein, Kofi Donkor said the streaming platform should pay them before they close the office.

“Boomplay pay us our Royalties before you close down the Ghana office on Friday!!” he wrote.

His post raises suspicion about whether Boomplay pays royalties to artistes directly or through their distributors.

Hopefully, the company will clarify this subject and address any challenges.
