New England Patriots fans have turned on Tom Brady after his name was not listed among the members of the Super Bowl LI team celebrating the 10-year anniversary.
A decade has passed since Brady won the fifth and perhaps most memorable of his seven Super Bowl rings, one of six won with the New England Patriots.
Brady led a historic comeback from 28-3 down at halftime to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime in a dramatic contest in Houston.
Members of the team will reunite and celebrate the occasion at Gillette Stadium this weekend as the Patriots host the Green Bay Packers.
But despite the fact Brady will already be in the stadium covering the game for Fox, he has not been listed as part of the festivities in a 26-man alumni list.
The list includes Rob Gronkowski, who is being inducted into the Patriots’ Hall of Fame on Saturday, and Julian Edelman, both of whom also work for Fox on their pregame shows but will attend.

Brady has not been to Foxborough since a preseason game in 2025 when his statue at the stadium was unveiled.
While he has commitments in the broadcast booth, Patriots fans quickly noticed his absence from the list and questioned why he could not briefly leave the booth to head down to the field with his old teammates.
‘Edelman and Gronk work for FOX, but Brady can’t come down for 5 minutes?’ one fan replied, as another wrote: ‘So Edelman and Gronk who will be doing pre/post game for FOX can come out, but Brady can’t? Noted.’
Another asked: ‘Anyone remember who the QB of that team was? Wonder if they could find him this weekend?’
‘I know Brady is in the booth but it would have been nice for him to be apart of this,’ wrote one fan as another said: ‘No reason why TB can’t walk out with the team but ok dude.’
A further post claimed: ‘Brady really doesn’t claim anything about the region, organization, or fans,’ and another said: ‘Brady too good to come down from his high horse for 5 minutes?’
‘Brady is literally in the stadium and He can’t be bothered to Come down for 5 Minutes????’
One Patriots fan admitted: ‘Man I’ll always love Brady but… he really lied when he said “fans will see me around a lot more once I’m retired”.’
A few weeks ago, Drew Brees stepped out of the Fox broadcast booth at halftime of a New Orleans Saints game to be inducted into their Ring of Honor.

Brady spoke this week about his return to Gillette Stadium, telling Colin Cowherd on FS1: ‘It’ll certainly be emotional. Every inch of that stadium I’ve been through so many times, from the locker rooms to the meeting rooms.
‘So many memorable plays in that stadium, big games, championship games, rivalry games, division-clinching games, so to be back there [is special].’
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel gave a cagey response on seeing Brady back in Foxborough this week, but hinted he will be present at Gronkowski’s event on Saturday.
‘I think I’m required contractually to catch up with him at some point,’ Vrabel said. ‘I’m sure it’ll be a Zoom. I’m sure they won’t show up here; I’m sure it will be on Zoom.
‘Yep, there you go. So yep, contractually I’ll be talking to him, and I’m sure I’ll see him at Gronk’s [Rob Gronkowski] induction on Saturday.’
