Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi registered his 5th league of the season in the Israeli Premier League when Beitar Jerusalem drew with Hapoel Jerusalem.

Twumasi scored the third goal for Beitar as they drew 3-3 with Hapoel in the crunchy Jerusalem derby at the Teddy Stadium on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Youngster Cedric Franck Don opened the scoring of the match after putting Hapoel ahead after just five minutes from kick-off.

The lead was cut short three minutes later when Russian defender Grigori Morozov equalized the score for the visiting team.

Don scored again in the 32nd minute to restore Hapoel’s advantage, but the lead stood for just three minutes, with Israel international Yarden Shua scoring.

Twumasi got his name on the scoresheet in the 72nd minute to put Beitar in front for the first time in the match.

Midfielder Awaka Eshata scored seven minutes from time to make the game even after he was set up by the Ivorian defender Eloge Yao.

Twumasi was substituted in the 85th minute after he was replaced by Costa Rica forward Mayron George Clayton.

The former Black Stars attacker has five goals and one assist in 10 matches in the Israeli top division this campaign.
