Ghanaians have been left amused after a self-styled preacher shared what he described as “divine instructions” for supporters hoping to secure visas to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a viral video making rounds on social media, the pastor, while in a moving bus, confidently outlined a rather unconventional list of “steps” he believes will guarantee fans entry into the United States, Mexico, or Canada, the three host nations for next year’s global football showpiece.

According to him, supporters should not pay any agent because they can do the process themselves.

“If your bank is active, try depositing money, but also don’t forget to withdraw it every three days. Deposit twice every week, and after that, go back to withdraw it,” he advised.

But his “divine guidance” didn’t stop there. He urged prospective travelers to take family pictures as part of the visa application process, with very specific requirements.

The preacher went on to connect his “instructions” with Ghana’s potential World Cup campaign, suggesting that applicants should even book hotel rooms in advance in whichever city Ghana may be drawn to play.

“The World Cup draw will be held in December, and if Ghana gets to play in Canada, let someone search for hotels around the stadiums Ghana will compete. Rent two days and pay for the hotel,” he added.”

His comments have since sparked laughter online, with many fans jokingly describing him as “the new travel consultant for Black Stars supporters.”

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, the first ever to feature 48 teams, will take place across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
